Key terms at a glance
Using the service
Frigo is intended to help users and households keep track of food at home. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you add and for using the service lawfully.
Accounts and households
You are responsible for your account and for the people you choose to share household data with. Shared households mean that other members can view and update shared information.
Food safety
Frigo helps organize expiry dates and reminders, but it does not determine whether food is safe to eat. Reminders, expiry dates, recipe suggestions, and item status indicators are estimates and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Always check the product label, storage instructions, smell, appearance, packaging condition, and official food safety guidance before consuming food.
Data quality
Barcode scans, receipt import, product lookup, recipe suggestions, and date suggestions are assistive features. Product names, quantities, units, locations, expiry dates, and barcode results may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for reviewing and confirming information before relying on it.
Product and barcode data
Frigo may use product or barcode information from user entries, local app data, shared household data, cached lookup results, and third-party data sources. This data is provided for convenience only and should not be treated as authoritative product, allergy, nutrition, recall, or safety information.
Availability
We aim to keep Frigo available and stable, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be free from errors or interruptions.
Health, allergy, and medical use
Frigo is not a medical, nutrition, allergy, or food safety service. Do not rely on Frigo as your only source for allergen, ingredient, nutrition, recall, or health-related decisions.
Changes
We may update the app, its features, and these terms over time. Continued use after material changes means you accept the updated version.
